Evaluation of software packages

A free evaluation licence is available for the OFFIS DICOM software packages DCMPRINT, DCMCHECK, DCM2AVI and DCMJP2K. The evaluation licence allows to download the software from the internet and to evaluate it for a period of four months. Any further use of the software requires a full licence agreement.

If you are interested in evaluating one or more of these software packages, please follow the step-by-step instructions below.

Step 1: download the licence agreement

Step 2: read, fill in, and print the agreement

For this purpose, you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is freely available for most systems. A link to the Adobe webserver can be found at the end of this page.

• On page 1 please fill in the complete name and address of your company/organization. Furthermore, fill in the name and the position of the signatory.
• On page 4 please fill in the place and date of the signature.
• On page 5 please select the software packages and options. Fill in your e-mail address and double-check this information because we will only reply to this e-mail address. Finally, repeat place and date of the signature.

Now you can print the agreement.

Step 3: sign the agreement

Please make sure that the contract is signed on page 4 (contract) and page 5 (appendix) by the signatory.

Step 4: send the agreement to OFFIS

Please send the contract by mail or express service (no e-mail or fax) to the following address:

How you are going to receive the software

The software will be made available to you via FTP. You are going to receive an e-mail containing host, login and password of your individual FTP account. This will usually take a few days after we have received the signed contract.

OFFIS reserves the right to refuse submitted licence contracts if there is a reason to believe that the information about the contract partner is incomplete or incorrect or that the licence material would not be used in accordance with the conditions laid out in the licence agreement.

The latest version of the Acrobat Reader can be downloaded from the Adobe webserver.
